Booking T’s & C’s

Please read these Terms and Conditions if you are booking the Outdoor Equestrian Arena.

 

• Equestrian pursuits are inherently dangerous and can result in serious injury and therefore using Gotton Farms facilities is entirely at your own risk

 

• Hirers are asked to keep to their allotted time slot and allow time at the beginning and end of sessions for setting up and take down.

 

• The use of the arena is entirely at the hirer’s own risk. It is the hirers responsibility to check the arena before entering to ensure it has been left in a safe condition and that the premises are secured and safe upon leaving.

 

• In case of emergency, hirers must ensure they have the use of a mobile phone. First aid will not be provided by Gotton Farm.

 

• All riders must wear protective headgear conforming to BSI standards at all times when mounted including warming up.

 

• Back protectors are recommended.

 

• Correct footwear and clothing to be worn at all times.

 

• All droppings in the arena or car park must be picked up and deposited in the muck area located to the side of the riding school.

 

• Poo-picking equipment is available by the main gate and is to remain here.

 

• Gotton Farm reserves the right to cancel any future bookings in the event that this condition is not adhered to.

 

• No hay or feed is permitted within the arena as it can damage the surfacing.

 

• All equipment to be put back where it was found.

 

• Any damage caused to the property belonging to Gotton Farm, will be charged to the hirer at the new replacement value plus any carriage costs.

 

• Litter is to be taken home with you.

 

• All participants must hold their own public liability insurance. We reserve the right to request sight of any such insurance policy.

 

• Children under 16 must be supervised at all times by an adult in the arena.

 

• Gotton Farm reserves the right to ask hirers to leave the premises should they believe a dangerous animal is being exercised or an animal is being mistreated.

 

• This riding arena is for the sole use of horses and ponies.

 

Cancellation policy:

Anyone cancelling their bookings within 24 hours is not entitled to a refund. Transfers will be at the discretion of Gotton Farm.

Gotton Farm will not be liable for any damage caused whatsoever to vehicles, animals, trailers, lorries, individuals etc whilst the hirer is using their facilities.
